Details Itinerary
Arrive in Nairobi, where you’ll be met by your guide. Then, drive to Samburu National Reserve. After settling in at your lodge or camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot the unique wildlife of the region, such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Spend a full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Explore the reserve’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, including the “Samburu Big Five” (Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk). Enjoy meals and a peaceful night at the lodge.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha, a stunning freshwater lake surrounded by lush greenery. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, offering views of hippos, birds, and the picturesque scenery. You’ll also have the option to visit Crescent Island for a walking safari. Overnight at a lakeside lodge.
Spend the morning exploring Lake Naivasha further, perhaps visiting the Hell’s Gate National Park for hiking or biking amidst its dramatic landscapes. After lunch, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, famous for its incredible wildlife and scenic savannahs. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the Mara for the evening.
Enjoy a full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Search for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and other iconic wildlife in the Mara’s vast plains. Optionally, you may add a hot air balloon ride over the reserve (extra cost). Overnight stay at your Mara lodge or camp.
Another exciting day in Masai Mara with game drives at dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active. You’ll have the opportunity to see the Great Migration (seasonal) or spot predators in action. Enjoy the cultural richness of the region with a visit to a Masai village (optional). Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Masai Mara, capturing the last glimpses of wildlife and the beautiful landscape. Afterward, drive back to Nairobi, where your safari ends with a drop-off at the airport or your hotel.
