Day 1: Arrival In Nairobi – Transfer To Amboseli National Park
After having breakfast, spend the rest of the day in Amboseli National park. Enjoy the morning and afternoon game drives during which spotting elephants, lions, giraffes and buffalos is a given, especially with the unobscured views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation breaks in between drives, including the evening one. After the end of the game drive return to the accomodation for dinner and spend the night.
Day 3: Amboseli – Drive to Lake Naivasha
Have breakfast and leave for Lake Naivasha, which is in the center of the Great Rift Valley. The journey has excellent sights of the rift and features of the area. Upon arriving, settle in to your accommodation and have lunch. After lunch, take a boat ride on the lake Naivasha to view the flamingoes, hippos and other birds.
Start your day with a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its dramatic scenery and geothermal activity. Explore the park’s stunning gorges, towering cliffs, and the hot springs while enjoying a game drive to spot wildlife such as buffalo, giraffes, and various bird species. You can also opt for a bike ride through the park for a more adventurous experience. After a day of exploration, return to your accommodation in Naivasha for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, depart from Naivasha and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. The drive will take you through the scenic Great Rift Valley before arriving at your lodge or camp in the Mara. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive through the reserve, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five and more. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Masai Mara, where you’ll search for lions, leopards, elephants, and cheetahs across the reserve’s vast plains. If you visit during the migration season, you might witness the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, and continue the game drive in the afternoon, exploring different parts of the reserve. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
On your final day, enjoy a morning game drive to capture any last wildlife encounters before heading back to Nairobi. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, where you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or drop off at your hotel, marking the end of your incredible 7-day safari adventure.
